ONE OF A KIND! 1978 CHEVROLET CORVETTE PACE CAR EDITTION!

This veritable time capsule Indy 500 Pace Car was acquired by it's previous owners in May 2022 after 43 plus years in climate controlled hibernation.   The engine is the original 350 cubic inch L-82 with an automatic transmission and runs today "as new" in 1978.

This may be the only Pace Car in existence, complete with it's original General Motors protective coverings exactly as it came off the truck in 1978.  Showcasing it's original Window Sticker still affixed, having never been titled, this Pace Car boasted a mere 18 miles on the odometer on the date of purchase. Since then couple of hundred miles were added to the vehicle. 

General Motors strategically limited the deliveries of the Pace Car to one per dealer in 1978, marking the 25th Anniversary of the Chevrolet Corvette.
